This Website is provided solely to assist customers in gathering and sharing travel information, posting opinions of travel related issues, engaging in interactive travel forums, posting recommendations and tips, and posting photos and for no other purpose. The term “you” or “your” refers to the customer visiting the Website and/or contributing content on this Website. REVIEWS, COMMENTS AND USE OF OTHER INTERACTIVE AREAS We appreciate hearing from you. Travelspecs's right to disclose any such information shall take precedence over any terms of Travelspecs's Privacy Policy. ADVERTISING We require that our logo and the banner advertisements of our sponsors are displayed throughout the website and our Members do not share in any revenue which may be derived from such advertisements. E-MAIL AND PROFILE INFORMATION Travelspecs uses e-mail to inform you of the status of your Travel Page, new membership benefits and features, to let you know of urgent problems on our site, If you elect not to receive our e-mail messages by removing yourself from our mailing list, you forfeit ALL of your Travelspecs membership benefits including any and all free services that Travelspecs offers including. The profile information that you submit to Travelspecs remains your property, but by submitting that information to Travelspecs you grant Travelspecs the right to use that information for internal marketing to Travelspecs’s sister and parent companies, as well as subsidiaries and affiliates, Travelspecs members and direct e-mail marketing by Travelspecs. In addition, Travelspecs reserves the right to release current or past member information in the event Travelspecs believes that the membership is being or has been used in violation of this User Agreement or to commit unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed, or when Travelspecs deems it necessary or appropriate. By agreeing to the conditions of this User Agreement, you hereby consent to disclosure of any record or communication to any third party when Travelspecs, in its sole discretion, determines the disclosure to be appropriate. INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS We reserve the right to monitor and to investigate any complaints regarding any Content of Travelspecs members' pages, message-board postings, or any chat room statements and to take the appropriate action if Travelspecs finds any violation of this Agreement. [] In the case of any such complaint, Travelspecs reserves the right to remove the Content complained of while the Travelspecs member and the complaining party attempt to resolve their dispute. Travelspecs is the final arbiter of what IS and IS NOT allowed on our site. Further, Travelspecs reserves the right to modify or remove anything submitted to Travelspecs, and to cancel any membership, at any time for any reason without prior notice. Travelspecs is not obliged to maintain back-up copies of any material submitted or posted on our site.
TRAVEL DESTINATIONS Although most travel, including travel to international destinations, is completed without incident, travel to certain destinations may involve greater risk than others. Travelspecs urges passengers to investigate and review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements and advisories issued by the government of your respective country of residence and destination country governments prior to booking travel to international destinations.
