FRASER ISLAND
Take the ferry from Rainbow Beach to Fraser Island. Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the whole world. After stepping foot on land, you will feel like you’re the only living soul here. At night you camp on the beach and will be able to see the Milky Way and Mars. Pack a lot of clothes though, it can be extremely cold at night. Also watch out for the wild dingo’s. as Fraser is their territory. Fraser Island is their natural habitat and they can be pretty vicious. In the daytime drive to Indian Heat for an exceptional view, and to spot whales, dolphins and sharks. Don’t forget to visit Maheno Shipwreck and sweet-water, white sanded Lake McKenzie.
