Madrid has everything to offer when it comes to accomodation. Are you a big spender? Head to the Reina Victoria Hotel at Plaza Santa Ana. On a tight budget and want to meet the young international crowd? No problem, you will have a good time at the Mad Hostel or any other youth hostel in town. Each neighbourhood in Madrid has its own style, so where you want to stay, largely depends on what you like. Still, if you can find something anywhere near the Plaza Santa Ana, metro Antón Martín or Tirso de Molina you will be on a top location, since these are excellent starting points to explore the rest of the city. However, other areas can be perfectly fine as well. Madrid has an excellent metro system, which can bring you anywhere in the blink of an eye.
