London - Accomodation
As the subway-system is functioning like a well-oiled machine, there is no real need to book a hotel or hostel in a particular area, as long as you are close to any subway-station. However, it surely adds to the real London-‘feel’ if you stay somewhere in the center. For example, staying around Piccadily Circus or Trafalgar.

A good hostel is Piccadilly Backpackers Hostel, close to – where else – Piccadilly Circus. It is close to some of the best highlights and the biggest shopping streets, but if you want to visit something a bit further away, the subway is at crawling distance.
